Enemy at the Gates Production Delays

Enemy at the Gates Production Delays
As the German army invaded the Soviet Union in 1940 as part of Operation Barbarossa, Soviet industry lurched into overdrive and produced masses of material to outfit millions of troops tasked with pushing back the invasion.

Unfortunately, our own Soviet Troops are still waiting to be outfitted. Due to issues with moulding tools, the first run of flexible plastic Soviet Infantry were not up to our standards and so could not be shipped according to schedule.

New tools have since been developed and the infantry remade to a standard with which we are happy. We know you will be pleased with them too. Soviet Infantry will ship in December.

Our plastic Stalingrad buildings have also been delayed due to tooling issues and sizing inconsistencies. Initial test pieces revealed that the various parts of the buildings came out misaligned. Instead of coming together to build a perfectly fitted model of a Russian building they didn’t align accurately at all. The tools have been reset and adjusted after this initial run and production will resume in the next few weeks. We are expecting to have the Plastic Stalingrad Buildings shipping by February 2019.

We apologise for the inconvenience these delays have caused, and we look forward to sharing with you the exciting new armies and projects coming out in the next few weeks.
