Battle of El Alamein: War in the Desert

Step 1. Begin assembly of the Universal Carrier by attaching the right-hand side track to the hull section.  Step 2. Next, attach the left-hand side track to the hull section.
Below: The left-hand side track in place.  Step 3. Next, attach the hull rear piece to the rear of the hull section.
Step 4. Attach the left-hand side sand guard. Step 5. Attach the right-hand side sand guard.
Below: Right-hand side sand guard in place. Step 6. Next, insert the crew into the driver and gunner position. You may find it easier to paint the crew separately before gluing them in place.
Step 7. Crew in position. Step 7. Mount your choice of weapon – either the Bren gun or the optional Boys anti-tank rifle.
