Assembling The T30 (UBX63)

Fighting First: US Forces In North Africa 1942-43

Step 1. Begin assembly of the Halftrack by attaching the right-hand side tracks to the hull section.  Step 2. Next, attach the left-hand side tracks to the hull section.

Below: Both tracks in place.  Step 3. Next, attach the right fender to the from of the Halftrack.

Step 4. Attach the right-hand side wheel to the axle. Step 5. Repeat for the left-hand side.

Below: Left-hand side fender in place. Step 6. Attach the left-hand side wheel to the axle.

Step 6. Next, attached the bumper to the front of the Halftrack. Step 7. Affix the windshield to the hull.

Below: Windshield in place. Step 8. Position the driver on the drivers seat.

Step 9. Attach the 75mm to its mount. Step 10. Fit the gun mount in to the floor of the insert.

Step 11. Attach the MG to its mount.

Step 12. Position the T30 insert in the back of the halftrack. Step 13. Attach the rear door to the halftrack.

Below: Rear door in place. Step 14. Add the gun shield to the 75mm.
