7th Armoured Division Army Deal (BRAB16)
British 7th Armoured Division (BRAB16) The 7th Armoured Division, the Desert Rats, established a name for themselves in the tough fight against Rommel's Afrikakorps in Egypt, Libya, and finally Tunisia. Having kicked the Axis out of Africa they went on to serve in Sicily and Italy before being pulled off the line to get ready for the invasion of France. These veteran troops were picked by General Montgomery because of their vast experience.

The Cromwell (75mm) boasts a Rolls-Royce Meteor V12 petrol with 600 horse power giving it a speed of 40 mph (64 km/h). This added speed gives it an edge over a Sherman, letting it easily outflank enemy tanks.

Sherman armoured troops combine the general-purpose Sherman tank with the Firefly specialist anti-tank variant. The Firefly is armed with the 17 pdr anti-tank gun which is ideal for taking out the big German tanks. The Firefly will keep the enemy tanks occupied as your Sherman tanks rush around the flank to finish them off.

The Crusader AA anti-aircraft tank mounted twin 20mm Oerlikon anti-aircraft guns on a fast, light tank chassis. Armoured regiments had a troop of six Crusader AA tanks, usually distributed as a pair to each squadron.

Most of the British armoured divisions in Normandy were equipped with Sherman tanks. These reliable American-made tanks gave them a balance of firepower, armour, and mobility that they had long lacked.

The Sexton self-propelled gun moutns a 25 pdr artillery piece on a Canadian-built Ram chassis. Its mobility and armour make it ideal for supporting armoured operations where it can bombard or smoke-screen troublesome anti-tank guns, freeing the tanks to keep on with their attack.

A motor company is essentially a motorised rifle company, just with fewer men and more weapons to make it easier to get forward over crowded roads. Their transports are unarmed, so are usually left safely out of the way during battles.
