Victor and Sean at the Mid War Grand Tournament with Victor Pesch & Sean Goodison When I heard everyone in the Battlefront Studio talking about the Mid-war Grand Tournament, I begun thinking about whether I actually had any figures or models to field a Mid-war Army. I then remembered I had base-coated some Tigers for a 1942 Schwere Panzerkompanie from Eastern Front and realised this would be as good a time as any to get them finished. Being a Doubles tournament, I started talking to Sean (my partner in crime, who I had teamed up with at Panzerschreck last year) about what two lists we could run; using figures we already had. We thought it might be a good idea to have some infantry so we looked at the Fallschirmjäger list from Eastern Front since I had some Late-war Fallschirmjäger already painted. We were happy to get one win (the only game that our opponents had no infantry!), and thanks to a bye, we came 11th overall and ended up having the 3rd best painted army; making this our best tournament result so far! ~ Victor and Sean.
