Leopard: West Germans in World War III Leopard – West Germans in World War III

Leopard – West Germans in World War III is the first supplement for Team Yankee, the World War III miniatures game. It introduces the forces of West Germany to the turbulent battlefields of World War III in 1985. Leopard and the West German range of Team Yankee models include everything you need to hold back the Red Menace.

Inside you will find background on the West German Bundeswehr (armed forces) and Heer (army) and their role in the initial stages of World War III. You will also find the stories of Panzer Division 1 and Kampfgruppe Müller as they fight to defend their country form the invading communist forces.

Kampfgruppe Müller (TGRAB1)
West German Panzer Battlegroup

Müller’s leading platoon rounded the wood and were faced with a battalion of tanks and a company of infantry parked in several long tree lined fields. The German tanks were quickly spotted, which sent the Soviets into a mad scramble to mount their vehicles. The Leopards began to pick off the stationary T-72s as they desperately tried to swing their guns into action.

The West German army deal for Leopard is Kampfgruppe Müller, which includes five plastic Leopard 2 tanks and two plastic BO-105P Helicopters.

Leopard Shipping News

We have just learned that the ship carrying the stock of Kampfgruppe Müller for the US office has been delayed as the ship was 6 days late arriving at the Los Angeles Port and whilst it is in port now it has not begun unloading. This means that the army deal will be not be available until 23 July. We apologise to our American customers for the delay. Customers in the UK, Europe and the Rest of the World remain unaffected.

We've been advised that the shipment containing Kampfgruppe Müller will be the only one affected, so the Leopard book and West German paints will be available this weekend, and the rest of the Leopard models and gaming items will be released on schedule. Note: direct order pre-orders through the online store will not be charged until the products are shipped to you.

Manawatu Duellists Society Panzerschreck XV 2016

Panzerschreck is the world’s oldest Flames Of War tournament. Exactly how old is perhaps subject to debate, because the first Panzerschreck was held in 2000, before the first edition rulebook was published, using the playtest rules. However, this year’s event is officially number ‘XV’, not ‘XVI’, leading some of us to suspect the numbering has inadvertently missed a ‘I’ somewhere along the way. Nevertheless, it is always a fantastic event, and a chance to play against several Battlefront staff members (for those of you who are interested in that sort of thing).
